Attorney Profile
Ms. Kelley worked for the Colorado State Senate prior to attending law school. During law school Ms. Kelley did contract work for law firms in order to help pay for her schooling. Upon graduation from law school, Beth Kelley worked as a Judicial Clerk to the Chief Judge of the Denver Juvenile Court, the Honorable Karen Ashby. Ms. Kelley then worked as a criminal defense attorney in Denver before joining Nancy Holton and Associates in Boulder as an Associate. In 2005, Ms. Kelley founded the Kelley Law Firm. For the past five years, Ms. Kelley has taught trial advocacy to aspiring lawyers at her alma mater, the University of Colorado.
Ms. Kelley's publications include The Judicial Benchbook on Colorado Child Welfare Law, 2001, which she edited and wrote with two magistrates from the Denver Juvenile Court. Beth Kelley is a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Colorado Women's Bar Association. In her free time, Beth Kelley plays soccer and teaches Pilates. She resides in Boulder, Colorado. |
